The successful candidate is responsible for consulting project management practices and the use of project management software (Primavera P6, CM) to targeted clients in various industries – Architecture, Engineering & Construction, Oil & Gas, Industrial Manufacturing and Information Technology, Public Sector and Utilities. Tasks will include planning software implementation engagements, writing project plans, understanding and defining customer requirements, relating them to the software, defining processes for use with the software and making best practice recommendations for customer implementation. Additionally, the successful candidates will work with our clients in the development of organization-specific project work breakdown structures, creating resource loaded schedules, maintaining schedule status, and creating progress and financial reports. The implementation consultant will also provide end user training and education on the effective use of the system in management of projects in the organization.

Duties include:

- Facilitate planning and requirements sessions with client

- Define and document project management configuration requirements

- Lead other professional services and technical staff on client engagements

- Consulting on the implement enterprise level data (EPS, OBS, roles dictionary, and resources dictionary), development and use of customized codes and user defined fields, and development of Work Breakdown Structures tailored to clients

- Provide end user training using standard Primavera training materials and courses

- Produce project controls policies and procedures utilizing best practices in project management

- Consulting on the use of Primavera to update cost and to schedule reports to track project progress

- Assist in the sales process by providing detailed, tailored demonstrations of the software applications to prospective clients

* Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering), Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.

* Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with both technical and non-technical teams.

* Sound knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

* Experience in project management implementation (e.g. setting up project management procedures and protocols, deploying software for project management, managing projects)

* Experience of project management/project planning in the oil & gas industry and construction industry is a plus.

* Experience with project management software (Microsoft Windows Project or Primavera) is a plus.

* Training experience is a plus

* Occasional travels are required
